Kuta at Seminyak night market, and there are also travelers’ cafes, houses & villa cafe everywhere in the area, find some of the best and cheapest food available.

Kuta Ketupat , hidden behind the Jonathan Gallery, is a calm, serene oasis ideal for either lunch or dinner. The dining pavilions all centre on a strikingly blue bathing pool. Dishes originate from across Indonesian, including Javanese curries, such as nasi hijau harum.

Kuta Aroma’s Café, may be in a gentle garden villa setting encircled by water fountains, but expect similar prices to what you would pay at home for just better than average juices, breakfast and coffee (then again it does have very flash toilets – make sure you go at least once to get your money’s worth!). International mains meals are also available, at more reasonable prices.

Kuta Bali Corner, which serves up the usual range of Indonesian, Western and Chinese food, and of course crowd pleaser pizza. Many of the eateries along here also show video movies at night.
