Global crisis has put a lot of unfavorable impact to economy growth of Bali, which the economy is mainly powered by tourism. It has been marked by the decreasing number of travelers coming to Bali by the end of this year. There was some number of cancellations coming from travelers especially from America and Europe but it is saved for number of travelers coming from Asia and Australia.

Any how people in Bali are optimistic that Bali is able to survive since Bali still has promised incredible spots for holiday and support from the local government for the promotion. Bali has experience with bomb blast crisis and Bali proved to the world by making big effort to get out of the crisis and the travelers start coming to Bali again.

By the end of 2009, there was 133,705 tourists, both domestic and international, coming to Bali for spending Christmas and New Year. Regarding this amount, the number of travelers is remaining high even though this number is slightly less compare to last year at the same period. This New Year, everyone wishes that this crisis will back to normal soon and Bali will be wonderful place for tourist as it should be.

Bali as it is in the best interest of the island to survive as a whole. Holiday in Bali is still a dream for everyone from all over the world.
